Custom Jewellery Design in Pune: How the Process Works
Custom jewellery sounds intimidating, but it's often simpler than buying off a display — because the piece is built around you. Whether you're reworking an inherited necklace or designing an engagement ring from scratch, here's what the process actually looks like.
Step 1 — Share your idea
You don't need a finished design. A reference photo, a rough sketch, an old family piece, or even just a feeling is enough to start. The clearer you are about occasion, budget and who will wear it, the smoother everything that follows.
Step 2 — Design consultation
Next comes a conversation — in-store or over a call — where we translate your idea into a concrete design: metal, stones, weight, and finish. For finer work we'll prepare a CAD render or a hand sketch so you can see the piece before any metal is cut.
Step 3 — Approval and quotation
You'll get a transparent quote covering metal rate, stone cost and making charges, plus an estimated timeline. Nothing goes into production until you're happy with both the design and the price.
Step 4 — Crafting
This is where our karigars (craftsmen) take over. Depending on complexity, a bespoke piece typically takes two to four weeks. Intricate bridal or polki work can take longer — worth the wait for something made once, properly.
Step 5 — Delivery and pickup
Once finished, you inspect the piece in person or over a video call, we confirm hallmarking and certification where applicable, and it's yours. Showroom pickup in Pune, plus secure insured delivery across India and worldwide, is available.
